Innsbruck offers not only one, but several Christmas Markets and each of them is unique: either romantic and traditional, fashionable and modern or high above Innsbruck with a superb view. It is worth to visit all of them!

Old Town

15. November to 23. December

The oldest and most traditional Christmas market is situated in the historical Old Town around the famous Golden Roof. Some of the highlights are the fairy-tale alley and the brass players, which play every day at 5:30 pm on the balcony of the Golden Roof.

Marktplatz

15. November to 23. December

A market for the whole family! The Punch and Judy show and a lovely merry-go-round are highlights for all children. And in the middle of the market shines a wonderful Swarovski Christmas tree with thousands of glowing pebbles.

Maria-Theresien-Straße

25. November to 6. January

This market in the most beautiful street of Innsbruck enchants its visitors with special light effects, glass and crystals. The modern market stands offer a vast range of Christmas items, handicraft and culinary delicacies.

Hungerburg

16. November to 23. December

This Christmas market is situated high above Innsbruck and offers a fabulous view on the city. With the Hungerburg cable car the ride there becomes a real highlight! After having visited the small and lovely market you can still take the gondola up to the top of Hafelekar on 2.256 metres. 

Wilten

25. November to 21. December

The lovely Christmas market at Wilten is really cozy, small and peaceful. If offers a fine selection of handicrafts, beautiful gift ideas and local delicacies.

St. Nikolaus

22. November to 23. Dicember

The quarter St. Nikolaus is only a few meters away from our hotel. Against the backdrop of beautiful old houses, a romantic, small market with a fine selection of drinks and regional food takes place.
